Shipping
So buyers can check out on your website, set up the Shipping menu: pick a shipping type, fill in your pickup address, choose a courier, set up notifications, free shipping, and shipping zones, then click set live. Takes about 5 minutes.
Before you start
- ✓Products already have weight and size set. If not, finish the Products tutorial first.
- ✓Have your pickup address, PIC name, and PIC phone number ready.
- ✓Have an email ready for order notifications.
Steps
Choose a shipping type
Open the Shipping menu. Pick Physical Product if items need to be shipped via a courier, or No Shipping if you have your own courier or items don’t need shipping. Then click Save & continue.
Fill in pickup address and PIC
Fill in your pickup address, PIC full name, PIC phone number, and other details.
Choose a courier method
Pick Managed by SOPAN so you don’t need to find a courier yourself, or Ship it yourself to use your own regular courier. With Ship it yourself, tracking numbers are entered manually while shipping cost is still calculated automatically.
Activate shipping services
Click the shipping services you want to turn on.
Set up notification email and insurance
In settings, fill in the email that will receive order notifications. Turn on automatic Insurance if needed.
Fill in a default package size (optional)
Fill in default package dimensions. This can be left blank if dimensions are already set per product.
Set up Free Shipping (optional)
Turn on Free Shipping, then set the Minimum spend and the subsidy cap you’ll cover for buyers.
Choose shipping zones
Pick your coverage zones, for example Java only, all the way to Maluku and Papua, or select all zones.
Set up the checkout form and go live
Add fields to the checkout form if you need extra info from buyers. If not, click save, then click set live.
Your shipping is now active
So buyers can pay on your website, also activate your payment account in the Payments menu.
